About Our Approach:

Rising Leaders Academy uses a project-based, Expeditionary Learning instructional framework aligned with the Florida Standards. We are looking for life-long learners who are eager to grow professionally and contribute meaningfully to our mission.

Ideal Candidates Will:

  • Show initiative and collaboration aligned with Expeditionary Learning

  • Support RLA’s mission of using education, language, culture, relationships, and community to help children rise as leaders

  • Design and conduct Learning Expeditions aligned to Florida standards

  • Participate in ongoing professional development

  • Develop curriculum and implement project-based learning to promote critical thinking

  • Design and use formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and measure student growth

  • Communicate clearly with students and families about progress

  • Collaborate with the school team in instruction, assessment, parent communication, and classroom management

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Location: In-person at Rising Leaders Academy, Panama City, FL 32405

    • Applicants must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to start date

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum: 1–3 years of teaching experience

  • Preferred: 3–5+ years of experience
